About the Nursery
The Nursery is registered by Ofsted for 42 children. The children are split into three rooms:-
- The baby room – a room for 9 babies between the ages of 5wks and 18 mths
- The toddler room – a room for 18mths-2.5 yrs olds, and will accomodate 9 children.
- The pre school room – a room for 2.5 yrs – 5 yrs and will accommodate 24 children.
- In addition to this we have a dining room where the children eat and can participate in baking activities.
- Also there is a separate sleep room adjoining the baby room where children can rest if required.
- A large outside area will allow the children to experience a wide range of outdoor activities inc. water sand, growing, movement, climbing etc.
The Baby Room
The babies will be cared for in the Jelly Babies:-
- A lovely light spacious rooms with views over the fields.
- A sleep room for the babies to rest links the babies and toddler rooms.
Staff (Ratio 1 – 3)
A Room Manager (Level 3 early Years)
A Deputy Room Manager (Level 3 Early years)
And upto 4 nursery nurses (At least level 2 or level 3)
The Toddler Unit
The toddlers will be cared for in the Jelly Tots. Another light and spacious room with direct access to outside so the children can choose to play indoors or out.
The children also have access to the dining room for meals and other activities.

The Pre–School Unit
The Pre–Schoolers have their own room Jelly Beans. This is a large room with two sets of double doors opening out into our large outdoor area. Children can choose to access activities indoors or outdoors.
The children also have access to the dining room for meals and other activities.
